IMPORTANT! –Wetsuit Biosecurity – Check, Clean & Dry

All athletes must ensure their wetsuit and gear follow the Check, Clean & Dry protocol. This will be a requirement for participation, and athletes will be asked about compliance upon registration. If you are unsure whether your wetsuit meets the protocol, we can dip and treat your wetsuit at registration so it’s safe to bring to the event.

Didymo is an invasive microscopic alga that is almost impossible to remove once established. Prevention is the only effective control — thank you for helping protect our waterways.
For those who want to prepare at home, step-by-step instructions and photos on how to check and clean your wetsuit safely will be provided below.
