Course Summary
Get those laces tied tight—it’s time for the most exciting finish line of the season! The countdown begins: Ready, set, GO!
Young athletes will take off on an exhilarating 2 km cross-country adventure winding through the scenic trails of Spa Park. It’s the perfect distance to get the heart pumping and the legs moving. But the real challenge—and the real fun—waits at the very end.
As children loop back to the top of the park, they will face the Big Decision:
The Sprint: Dash across the finish line on foot like a classic track star.
The Slide: Launch down a slip ‘n slide, diving straight into a watery victory!
Whether they choose Sprint or Slide, every finisher is a champion. Don’t miss out on the wildest race finish in town!

COURSE Description:
Ready, set, go! Kids will dash through Spa Park on a 2 km cross-country course. The course finishes back at the top of the park, where the big decision awaits—run to the finish or zoom down the slip ‘n slide straight into victory!

Minimum Age:
Must be aged between 4 and 12 years on race day to compete. Entrants between 4 – 9 years may be accompanied by one adult on course. Accompanying adults are free of charge.
Walkers:
Walkers are welcome to enter in the Kids Run. Please ensure walkers start at the back behind the runners and keep to the left at all times.

Race Briefing:
There will be a Kids race briefing & Warm up 15min prior to race start down at Spa Park.
Athlete Check-in:
Event registration for all categories will be held on Friday, 11th December, at IPPNZ Showroom 2/258 Spa Road, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Late registration pick up will also be available on the day of the event at Spa Park from 5:00 am.
Participants for the Kids Dash ‘n’ Slide may also register late at the Spa Park start line on the day of the event, provided the event is not sold out.
Timing Results:
Timing results will be provided as an overall time from Start to Finish.
Prizes:
All Children will receive a finisher medal and Post Race water and fruit
